Jason Segel takes stage with 'Once' band, offers digits

Much as I wanted to like Once because its songwriter/stars Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova are so talented, I found the film humorless and hard to watch. Still, one finds oneself rooting for The Swell Season, the band they've formed in the wake of the film's success. Rooting for, not listening to. Anyhoover, seems actor/writer Jason Segel (I Love You Man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is a fan and friend of the band and injected their recent LA appearance with a catchy dose of the simultaneously self-effacing/self-aggrandizing humor that is the city's metier. Including his phone number. Nice one.
