Portlandia character interviews J. Mascis

Some musicians are famous for being bad at being interviewed. One of the most famous is J. Mascis of Dinosaur, Jr., whose enigmatic music makes a huge cult of fans want to know what he's thinking about. To meet the issue head on, Fred Armisen's Portlandia character Candace (or Women and Women First Bookstore fame) interrogates Mascis in this very funny clip, meeting the guitar hero's wave of taciturnity with an onslaught of awkwardness.
