As details of Whitney Houston's death continue to roll in, one can expect the coverage to focus on sordid details of her decline. But as the 2012 Grammys are handed out tonight, the long shadow of Houston's immortal talent will be on everyone's mind. She was nominated 26 times and won six of those, but her performances at the awards ceremonies were among the most memorable of any in history. @Tigger26  We know people die all the time but Whitney did something special for all her fans and she leaves these loyal fans behind as well as her family, and some of us grew up listening to her and loving her.  Nobody is perfect in this imperfect world but it does mean something when your name is remembered and loved around the globe.  Yes I work and I probably make more money than you but this isn't about money or has nothing ever meant something to you?  She is human and we are all born into sin or don't you know that?

i cant believe she really died she was a beautiful woman and had a beautiful voice but now we cant hear a new song with her voice that she had but i felt very sad for her but everybody has to die but she died at the age of 48 thats not that old R.I.P. Whitney i will always remeber you and let the lord bless you!!! ):

OMG! Give it up...all of you! Billions of people die daily for many reasons and a celebrity dies and people have a whole hoopla about it. Yes RIP Whitney....it certainly is sad and she leaves behind a lovely family but lets not sit here and argue about it. 

 

We are sitting here wasting the time we have left on earth arguing about drugs, and being clean and now god?  I hate the fact I'm even contributing to this useless blog that is running below.

 

I know I just got home from it but do any of you work?  Or are you glued to this nonesense all day? LAME

I am in my mid forty's, so surely you all know i was right in the whitney era and I loved her even in bad times as well as the good times. She will be sadly missed and I just hope bobby and family are able to help bobby christina through this I know this has to be hard on her very much.  I pray for peace among them and that god bless them in there time of need . a lot of people are feeling the sadness world wide. so just make sure you tell someone you love them today because tomorrows not promised to no one.

I always loving her.I come very sad with all cartel of drugs they like kill and separed people from God.I hope one day no more drugs in the earth. I love her voz.God blessed her in the 2 live.

Yes, she will be missed or I should say is missed so much already! Let's focus on what she brought to the live of so many.  I remember as a little girl, playing her records over and over again!  Growing up in dance competitions, we danced to so many of her songs!  Whitney, we love you! Blessings to her daughter, family and friends!

James, what a statement--you say "do not judge", well in all actuality what if she slipped in the tub and wacked her head and drowned? Boy you would not only be a hippocrit but WRONG also. Use your own advise and 'DO NOT JUDGE'.

I did read back, you still sounded hostile but maybe I read it wrong. Why dont people focus on the child she left behind? Can't bring back the dead, and we will never know what she did or what her true demise was!

Hi all, its true Whitney is Gone, but i think this is not the time to apportion blame on who killed who and who has served as a bad example for who. The bottom line is that she had a problem that she could not handle well, she made a choice that was bad: we have to learn from her mistakes and educate our self and our children. Please do not judge, or else you will also be judged.  Cheers

My only problem, if you read back, are those that are damn Whitney to hell for dying from abusing drugs when the official Coroners report isn"t even out yet? To many people passing judgement. I'm not hostile. Sorry if it came across that way.

And if what you said about Material Arts you meant "Martial Arts", try a Texas Sheriffs Deputy with 9yrs Martial Arts. Being brave and wanting to fight are 2 completely different things.
