As details of Whitney Houston's death continue to roll in, one can expect the coverage to focus on sordid details of her decline. But as the 2012 Grammys are handed out tonight, the long shadow of Houston's immortal talent will be on everyone's mind. She was nominated 26 times and won six of those, but her performances at the awards ceremonies were among the most memorable of any in history. Here are a few reminders of what Whitney Houston was capable of when the spotlight was at its brightest:
"I Will Always Love You," 1994
Several More Below:
"Saving All My Love For You," 1986
"The Greatest Love of All," 1987

This goes to show everyone what drugs and bad relationship can do. America needs to wake up and realize addiction is real and growing. I am an addiction counselor, and everyday I see lives wasted, just wasted. Whitney was taken away years ago by her husband and drugs. She had one of the best all time greatest voices and I have to think that now she has peace. Real peace from life, bad relationships, and drugs. My God Bless her and her loved ones.

Actually there were a couple other songs that were favorites of mine that didn't make it on the videos above. She had a great voice and had so much going for her. I've had this discussion with other people as to what happens with highly successful people who can pretty much have whatever they want, and then they decide to throw drugs into the mix. Very unfortunate but not surprising results. The best to her family.

God wanted to be with her so her made her a drug addict please she's gone sad as it may be because of choices she made, like so many other talented people have in the past Belushi.Morrison,Hendricks,Joplin,Farley all tried to escape the pressures of fame and sadly were lost to soon. My condolences to the family.

She was singing her heart out when I was pouring out mine. Now, as I go through some of the hardest moments in my life, she is gone. What memories I will remember when I had that One Moment in Time. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. She will be remembered by millions as the one who sang about the Greatest Love of All. She will be missed, but her music lives on in our hearts.

God truly wanted her to be with him and enjoy having her beside his side to serenade him. She was truly one of god's human gift to us all to enjoy and fill sorrow after she was gone. She song like a angel and gave us all a talented voice to enjoy for a life time. She will be truly missed and loved by all. God bless you Whitney and god bless her family.
