Springsteen parisEarly reports said that Bruce Springsteen's new album "Wrecking Ball" was going to be an angry look at the economy and politics, but The Boss may have surpassed even his most ardent fans' fury as he takes on inequality in America.

In one of the first extensive chats about the theme of the album, due out March 6, Springsteen held a press conference in Paris where he spoke at length about the problems with the country, and maintains that it's patriotic to address those problems rather than avoid them.

Here's some video of the press conference, including snippets of songs. The Springsteen news site Blogness on the Edge of Town found a track-by-track breakdown of the new album. And yes, the late Clarence Clemons contributes a sax solo to "Land of Hope and Dreams."

Enough already Bruce. Not all of your fans share in your liberal politics. We appreciate the music over the years but please tone it down.
