On a dark desert highway....
Eagles meet another species backstage in Dubai

See those speakers and stage in the upper right corner? That's the Eagles' stage for their first-ever concert in Dubai earlier this week. And when they were writing about "dark desert highways" in "Hotel California" it's a pretty safe bet that they weren't thinking about the deserts with camels either roaming free or being used as work animals. But things are different in Dubai, so the band went with the local customs and gave the camel an all-access pass to the show. The world tour is taking the band to places it has never been before in the Middle East and Africa; watch for them back here stateside before long; they'll be hitting Vegas on April 21 and headlining the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 5.
