Now, producers at BET are developing a new reality series for Brown, which will document his life and various business ventures, according to the Los Angeles Times. Set to executive produce the series is acclaimed reality expert James DuBose, who helmed NFL star Michael Vick's reality show following his imprisonment for involvement in a dogfighting ring.

The singer's new series is sure to provide the same kind of drama as seen in "Being Bobby Brown." In 2012 alone, the star reunited with his '80s pop group New Edition for a U.S. tour, married his longtime manager, Alicia Etheredge, checked into a rehab facility and dealt with the death of his ex-wife. BET bosses have yet to announce the title or premiere date for Brown's docu-series.

The Kardashian sis looks like the favorite to replace Steve Jones

One would hope that Simon Cowell is close to making up his mind about who will be the new "X Factor" answer to "American Idol" emcee Ryan Seacrest. And if TMZ's sources are speaking no lies, that individual may just be Mrs. Lamar Odom herself, Khloe Kardashian.

With its Season 2 premiere less than one week away, TMZ alleges that "X Factor" producers "believe Khloe makes the most sense in terms of audience draw, since they've already invested heavily in Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to attract young viewers."

But hey, it's all about the music man, am I right?

"X Factor" Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.

Potential four-judge lineup reportedly close to being locked in

Do you see Enrique Iglesias in the above image? Can you feel his longing to cross over from the hell of being trapped inside his music-video persona into a seat on the "American Idol" judges panel? It is Enrique all but crying, "Please, Nigel Lythgoe, please alleviate the burden of touring and recording for 2013 by ensuring a lucrative net worth without having to leave my chair."

Well, Enrique, it seems your desperate pining may go requited. Entertainment Weekly and Deadline are both reporting that the second-generation sex symbol is likely to square off a four-member "AI" judges panel for Season 12 that will also include Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj.

Neither the show nor Iglesias have confirmed this latest update, but if Enrique were to offer his fans any word of advice, it would most likely be to "let the rhythm take you over... bailamos."

'The Voice' executive producer shoots down charges from 'X Factor' over reschedule

"The Voice" executive producer Mark Burnett has shot down Simon Cowell's accusations he purposely pitted his NBC show up against the new season of "The X Factor" in order to take attention away from Britney Spears' judging debut.

The music mogul slammed NBC execs on Wednesday, Sept. 5, for expanding their upcoming premiere week to a third night, thus clashing with Cowell's new-look "X Factor," which debuts on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the same time as "The Voice."

Preview: 'The Voice' vs. 'The X Factor'

Outraged over the rescheduling, Cowell insists "The Voice" team broke their "gentleman's agreement", and he has accused them of "dirty tricks", adding, "They don't want people to see 'X Factor' because they've heard how good the series is. They don't want their audience to see Britney Spears."

Incidentally, this is the first time Spears has served as a reality competition judge, and her former pal and longtime pop rival, Christina Aguilera, is returning for her third season in the spinning chair on "The Voice."

Now Burnett has responded to the Brit's claims stating, "There was never ever a meeting or a discussion of what my show was up against. The fact is ... it shows you where our minds are at and where others are because it literally never crossed my mind. This is someone trying to read into something that doesn't exist. I'm just glad we're on Simon's mind."

"The Voice" Season 3 premiere airs Monday, Sept. 10, and continues for the next two nights with the blind audition rounds.

"The Voice" premieres Monday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, and "The X Factor" premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.

Hot on the heels of the news that he'll likely be doing an E! reality show, Ryan Lochte announced this a.m. that he'll be doing a cameo on Tina Fey's hit comedy "30 Rock" today -- and one of the show's writers already tweeted an on-set photo.

Bing: More on Ryan Lochte

NYmag.com reported this morning that Lochte, in town to cover Fashion Week events for E! News, misunderstood their reporter's question when asked "what shows" he'd be covering, instead telling said reporter, "I know I have the cameo for '30 Rock' in the morning, and after that, E! And then 'Live With Kelly.' So I'm all over the place."

He sure is. He's already set to make a cameo on "90210," in the Oct. 29 episode. And previously, reports had the 11-time Olympic medalist in talks to be on both "Dancing With the Stars" and "The Bachelor," and starring in his own E! docudrama, a la the Kardashians. NBC has confirmed the "30 Rock" cameo, according to EW.com, but not yet revealed what Lochte's role might be.

And though he's reportedly out of the running for "The Bachelor" gig, Lochte says he's single and open. "I'm not seeing anyone right now," he told the NY Daily News. "I didn't want to be in a relationship because it would be more on my plate. [But] I definitely want to settle down."

Expressing no ill will toward MTV for canceling "Jersey Shore," star Vinny Guadagnino nevertheless also apparently predicts show biz failure for one or more of his former housemates.

When asked who will survive, Vinny told a TMZ videographer: "I don't know about all of us, but I think whoever has imagination and talent will make it."

Befitting Vinny's nice-guy image, the diss was embedded inside a compliment, and no names were named (although TMZ should have pressed him harder). However, what's interesting is that this was a response to a specific question about "Jersey Shore" spin-off shows. And so far, only Pauly D, and Snooki and JWoww, are known to have starred in them.

Vinny also told TMZ that he thinks "Jersey Shore" could prove a useful launching pad for one of his co-stars, noting that Adam Sandler also began on MTV.

The Season 6 premiere of "Jersey Shore" airs Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT at on MTV.

'X Factor' creator lashes out at NBC for adding additional night for season premiere

On Wednesday, Sept. 5, bosses at NBC announced that a third night of the blind auditions will air next Wednesday, Sept. 12., following the previously scheduled premiere on Monday, Sept. 10, and Tuesday, Sept. 11. With the new Wednesday episode, "The Voice" will be in the same time slot as the season two premiere of FOX's "The X Factor."

Cowell is furious over the switch-up, telling TMZ.com that NBC execs broke the "gentleman's agreement" he had with them, which would have allowed viewers to watch both singing competition programs. He insisted, "This is a cynical, cold-hearted, unprofessional way of doing business. These guys have really got it in for us. It's nothing short of dirty tricks."

Plus: Must-see, new fall shows | New fall shows to avoid

The Brit believes "The Voice" showrunners are gunning for Cowell because when the UK version of "The Voice" began, it was pitted against "Britain's Got Talent," another Cowell created show, and "BGT" trumped "The Voice" in ratings. In addition to the shows going up against each other, the schedule change reignites the feud between "The Voice" judge Christina Aguilera and her longtime rival Britney Spears on "The X Factor" panel. Cowell adds, "Britney's not going to appreciate the fact that Christina - who has been a bit of a rival - isn't allowing Britney to have a night of her own. She's going to be devastated because she's put her heart and soul into this. "The reason they've done this is they don't want people to see 'X Factor' because they've heard how good the series is. They don't want their audience to see Britney Spears. They don't want their audience to see Demi Lovato." With just days away from both season premieres, Cowell is fed up with the peacock network and their ratings ploys. He says, "I can't bear it that the network is playing political games and playing with the audience."

"The Voice" premieres Monday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, and "The X Factor" premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
