Kym Johnson tackles 'Celebrity Apprentice Australia'
'Dancing With the Stars' professional heading for the boardroom Down Under
"Dancing With the Stars" pro Kym Johnson is heading to the boardroom Down Under to take part in "Celebrity Apprentice" in her native Australia. The ballroom beauty will go head to head with 13 other stars in business-centered challenges in a version of Donald Trump's hit reality show, where celebrities play to raise money for their favorite charities.
Johnson will be giving her winnings and earnings to the Merry Makers, a dancing program for the disabled. She will be up against notable Australian names, including Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice, 1980s rock frontman Brian Mannix and actor Rob Mills.
Production on the third season of "Celebrity Apprentice Australia" began Wednesday. The show is slated to premiere in March. No word on whether Johnson's new reality TV venture will prevent her from participating in the upcoming 16th season of "Dancing With the Stars" in March.
"Dancing With the Stars" returns in March on ABC.
