Kendra Wilkinson leaps into 'Celebrity Diving'
Former Playmate set to compete against pro athletes, Internet star and more
WENN
Former "Girls Next Door" star Kendra Wilkinson has been tapped to participate in ABC's reality competition show, "Celebrity Diving." The former Playboy model is used to baring it all, but she won't have to go that far when she takes part in the alphabet network's newest show.
Bing: More about Kendra Wilkinson | 'Celebrity Diving'
Wilkinson will be going head-to-head with other celebrities, as they perform high dives from different heights and various difficulties, vying to become the last and very best diver standing. Among those competing against the reality TV star are NFL pro Ndamukong Suh, basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, "Baywatch" babe Nicole Eggert, "Chelsea Lately" sidekick Chuy Bravo and Miss Alabama Katherine Webb, who made headlines as the gorgeous girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron. Four-time Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis will be on the panel of expert judges when "Celebrity Diving" debuts in March.
Plus: 15 actors to Kevin Bacon | Canceled or renewed | Births on TV
I like Kendra. Some people seem to forget that she was 19 when she met Heff so very young when she was filing Girls Next Door. Or course she acted immature. That's how most of us were acting freshman year of college. If you've seen her other show she did, you'd see how she's grown up.
That being said, this has to be the worst idea for a show I've ever hear of! At least with DWTS they end up with a talent that can help them further their careers in entertainment, what's diving going to give them? Being on a diving show can be seen as nothing more than a grab at becoming relavent again (and apparently needing the money).
