"Real Housewives of Atlanta" rivals Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have taken their bitter rivalry to Twitter. After four years and almost five seasons with Bravo's highest-rated "Housewives" franchise, Zolciak is set to depart the show after an episode airing Dec. 2.

And while Zolciak insists that the stress of balancing life as a reality TV star, wife and mother, and the constant bickering with her castmates has finally taken its toll on her, Leakes claims she was in fact fired by network execs and is ashamed to admit the truth. The "Glee" and "New Normal" star took to Twitter to share her side of the story and wrote, "It's so funny how this chick wants people to think she quit the show! The producers no longer wanted to work with you! Good bye with the lies... You had an existing deal that they honored!" Zolciak was quick to respond to Leakes' accusations, and wrote, "I definitely was NOT fired from RHOA I can guarantee u that! "

Zolciak revealed last week that she will be starring in her own spin-off show, with her NFL pro husband Kroy Biermann and their two sons, as a follow-up to her hit show "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding." She adds, "My spinoff last year was a one time thing so this spinoff is brand new! Bye hater!... You are so mad you cant stand it and hold your anger in, you are supposed to have all this stuff going on but your (sic) staying tuned into me." Leakes and Zolciak, who are former friends, are the only two original "Housewives."
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
