Report: 'X Factor' Marks Spot for Mario Lopez
Seasoned TV host will share duties with Khloe Kardashian
In addition to his time on "Extra," Mario Lopez is about to do some extra hosting. The New York Post reports that he will co-front "The X Factor" with Khloe Kardashian. (And The Post has good lead on FOX stories: Both companies are owned by News Corporation.)

Lopez and Kardashian -- who are expected to begin their duties once the show goes live next month -- will replace Welsh TV announcer Steve Jones, who was sacked by Simon Cowell last season. (The current season, which started last week, has so far gone without a Ryan Seacrest type.)

Lopez, 38, will stay on with "Extra," which is convenient because it tapes next door to "The X Factor" studio in Los Angeles.
"The X Factor" airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
I bet the "mama pimp" will be in the audience because her daughter kloe is a judge. Like somebody else already wrote - don't watch anything that has a kartrashian in it. I don't like any of these talent shows that are on. And now it seems that all the focus is on the judges and not the talent. It still boggles my mind the salaries they are paying these people to judge.
I know this doesn't concern the topic about khloe being named judge but had to share this. Saw a clip of kim last night on t.v. and she was getting in a car and you could hear her ask her girlfriend to stay close to her so the paperazzi couldn't get a picture of her rear. LMAO!! Guess she finally got a mirror in her house.
