Celebrity stylist inks deal with NBC to executive produce new series
Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe has inked a deal with NBC to executive produce a new sitcom loosely based on her life. The star of "The Rachel Zoe Project" is moving her talents from reality TV to scripted television, in a new venture with husband Rodger Berman.
According to Deadline.com, the couple sold its single-camera show about a popular designer/stylist to the peacock network, and it will be written by "Animal Practice" scribe Aseem Batra and directed by Emmy winner Todd Holland. Zoe has spent the past four years documenting her personal life and career on her Bravo docu-series, while juggling her VIP clients, infant son and fashion line.
