'The Voice' Recap: Another Four Are Sent Home
Karla Davis, Kim Yarbrough, Tony Vincent and Erin Martin are eliminated

I want to kick off this night's recap boasting. I really do. I want to say for the umpteenth time that Juliet Simms has this in the bag, and her moving on to the next round came as absolutely no surprise. But, how can I try to come off so all-knowing when I was equally convinced James Massone and his NKOTB-knockoff swagger would be sent packing and wasn't!? Heck, my head's still spinning from the Arsenio Hall cameo at the outset.
Anyway. The "Survivors"...

Team Adam:
Mathai
Tony Lucca (deserving of the life preserver; Aguilera's overly harsh words the night before still have me perplexed)
Pip
Team Cee Lo:
Juliet Simms
Jamar Rogers
James Massone
And so Adam's Three K's were left, Kim, Karla, and Katrina. Each gave an unremarkable performance in an effort to get the pass. I was certain Karla would be the victor, and still can't really believe it was Katrina Parker who got everyone's seal of approval, lumbering through No Doubt's "Don't Speak."

After that lethargic face-off, Cee Lo's hangers-on taking the stage was more than welcome. Especially because we all knew Tony Vincent, back to being able to make his own song selection, would find the right one. He did -- "Sweet Dreams." Of course, he went with Marilyn Manson's version over the originators, the Eurythmics. Cheesa selected well, knocking "All By Myself" out of the park. Erin Martin -- gorgeous as all get out, and who many vocal fans want to get out -- chose a goodie, too. Her quirky vocals worked, for the most part anyway, on Elton John's "Your Song." Still, her nervousness was palpable. It really felt like anyone's game, even if Xtina didn't even know Tony's name. But it wound up going to ... Cheesa. Bit of a shocker, really.
Of course, not as much as Massone making it through so easily.

"The Voice" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
This show sucks!!!!! I watch it only because my wife watches it. In fact I went to bed at 9 as not to watch it!!! Terrible is a light word how this program seems to me. You got a fat judge who can hardly get around, got a judge who just likes to show her boobs hanging out, and you got two other stupid judges who think they are all that. PLEASE TAKE THIS SHOW OFF AND LEAVE IT TO American Idol who has real talent and is not left over want a be's.
ALL theses shows are terrible and reading a book would serve most better.
Best way to become a star ,YOUTUBE.
Stream your talent on it and you'll be famous but probably get hooked on drugs from all the traveling and appearances.
Its a dream career and NONE of it glarmous.
Biebers BIO will probably read " at first things are great but then it get so hectic and he hated every moment of it ", then his beard had to come into play( Gomaz ) to keep his image as a straight guy.
I totally disagree... Kim was great both nights. Karla and Katrina were almost on the bad side Monday and barely okay on Tuesday. Kim should have made it. katrina was terrible and she does not deserve a spot.
I knew that James would make it....he reminds me of boy bands when i was younger. His sweet, young voice deserved to win. Think about how crazy the girls went over him, seriously.. As far as Cheesa, I can't believe that she had to fight for a spot. She was amazing both nights. There are worse singers on Cee Lo's team that could use a going home!
Honestly, do you think it's really all about the voice, that youth and visual appeal aren't factors? The people who have the most gadgets with which to vote and the time to both vote and enlist friends to do the same may not know much about certain issues, such as whether singers are "sharping", "flatting", or swallowing words because of a limited range. (Some do, of course.) What they DO know is what they like. And we all know what group I'm talking about, don't we?
I figured out pretty early who was likely to win or at least survive the longest, and who was going home. I also suspected that joining Team Adam was the Kiss of Doom since one of his people won last time, but that's another issue ....
