Scherzinger Confirmed for UK 'X Factor'
Nicole gets second chance to passive-aggressively evaluate talent

The good news for viewers of "X Factor" UK is that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger's arrival couldn't possibly commence more awkwardly than Britney Spears and Demi Lovato's auspicious first weeks judging the U.S. version.Believe it or not, and despite alienating herself from millions of Americans after crushing the dreams of poor little Rachel Crow (OK, slight exaggeration), Scherzinger's been granted a second shot at this whole judging thing. According to BBC, Daily Mail and others, the 33-year-old singer and UK network ITV have confirmed that she will replace Kelly Rowland on this summer's upcoming season of "X-Factor" across the pond.

Describing her excitement via the always-invigorating medium of carefully crafted press statement, Scherzinger said, "It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle." Unfortunately, Nicole's former bandmates in early aughts girl-group Eden's Crush (see below) weren't available to rebuke this clearly erroneous claim.
Season 2 of "The X Factor" USA premieres this fall on FOX.
