Lindsay Lohan reportedly denies 'DWTS'

Tabloid-magnet actress said to have turned down big bucks to cut the rug

First things first: How on earth is "Dancing with the Stars" already approaching its 16th season? Secondly, what are the odds that Lindsay Lohan would reject a half-million dollar offer to be a "DWTS" contestant when the show returns in March? Alas, TMZ is citing anonymous sources who allege that the 26-year-old tabloid fixture turned down a chance to cha-cha her way back into America's hearts. Apparently, Lohan is averse to doing reality TV.

The PR folks at "DWTS" would only tell TMZ that they "don't comment on casting." Unless, of course, they've successfully netted a willing participant whose name isn't attached to scandal and melodrama.

As for Lohan, it wouldn't be entirely far-fetched to see why she'd avert the genre entirely, given mom Dina's infamous exploits on "Living Lohan" and dad Michael's regrettable "Celebrity Rehab" stint. For all we know, "DWTS" producers colluded with TMZ to start the unsubstantiated rumor and drum up buzz for the impending premiere. The only thing any of us can bank on is that LiLo will be looking for alternative sources of income. 


We'll be sure to keep you posted as "DWTS" announces its actual next roster of ballroom-braving B-celebs.

Dancing takes alot of time and discipline-she wouldn't be able to drink and dance 'til midnight,f**k and fight 'til daylight. You just can't hoot with the owls and expect to be able to fly with the eagles.

What's sad is all these garbage reality tv shows like DWTS, Survivor, etc. keep getting renewed but quirky comedies like The B... In Apartment 23" can't even get a chance to develop an audience. If Cheers, Taxi, Wings, Mork & Mindy, The Odd Couple or half a dozen others I could name had made their debuts in the current reality tv plagued climate none would have had the chance to become the audience favorites they did. Reality tv is the worst thing to happen to the entertainment industry since canned laughter.

People on here show there intelegence and how rude our world has become.   Sad for you all.   Very sad indeed.   What filthy mouths you have also.   Why can't people make comments with out getting so nasty about it.    Makes no sense why people have to be this way.   That's why everyone is fighting and killing people all the time--people today are greedy, bullies, mean, driving people to suicide.   It is just such a horrible thing.

i wud have to say, she WUD definitely be better than KATE "I AM AN NEUROTIC/SELF ABSORBED/ITS ALL ABOUT ME/BITCH" plus 8.  kate was like totally farked up.  kate makes lohan look SANE.   

 

hmm and the show had ONE without the OTHER????

No BRAINER!!!  Why would she want (and let witness to all of the world) that she has no talent!  Unless you consider being a "Dushe Bag" a talent.  Well she may stand a chance considering all the DBs we have out there on Reality TV.  You know who you are.... Kim, Khloe and whoever the other ones are.....

Because she doesn't want the world to know she has no talent at all, and can you imagine the fiasco that would happen when she doesn't show up. or is a real pain in the **** like on her other projects...People would watch, just to see her fail...

Seriously?  LiLo has convinced herself that as the curtain closes on her once-promising acting career that "Dancing with the Stars" wants her?  Really?  And who wants to see that drug-addled whore on the dance floor?  Hmmmm.  Everybody, until she totally screws up, which would likely come on the opening show!!!  Crawl back in your hole, Lindsay.  You're so done!!!

My guess is, she turned down DWTS because she can't dance .. she's not sober long enough to stand on her two feet.

I can't figure why DWTS would even take a chance on her to begin with, she probably wouldn't show up half the time.

She refused to do DWTS because  she wanted to be allowed to crash her car into the studio and stumble out of it in a drunken stupor and dance with a 300lb female lesbian she met while she was in prison last time & goes by the name Big Rosie!

Sad to see the media is interested in this loser whereas nobody else could care less what she does. As far as I'm concerned Lohan and all others who cannot figure out how to act responsibly shouldn't be given any press.

Dancing with the Stars has officially hit rock bottom. I am sure the no talent hack Lohan would have generated some ratings just to see her in a coke induced state trying to dance.

That was mistake for her, since she is a terrible actress and her marginal looks are rapidly diminishing.   With the $500K she was going to get from DWTS, that would have supported her cocaine habit for another 3 to 4 months.

 

Did you see her on the Liz Taylor bio-pic?   She was terrible.

 

Children, that should teach you something when you have pre-marital sex and are a whore.

Do the producers of "DWTS" really think people would tune in to watch that junkie whore dance? She is a total loser .She's had several opportunites to clean herself but but refuses to do so. I won't watch anything she does.She's a waste of air & space.
