America turned down her husband. Now Ann Romney is repaying the favor. According to TMZ, she has rejected "Dancing With the Stars" after seriously considering competing next season.

"Ann Romney was approached, but she declined," Romney's rep reportedly told TMZ.

When the 63-year-old wife of former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney attended the "DWTS" finale last year, it hatched rumors that she might join the show. And sources told TMZ that Romney was "very interested," but that the two sides couldn't hash out an agreement.

The Huffington Post is alone in reporting that Romney's decision may be related to Multiple Sclerosis, the disease she's been battling for 14 years.

Are you bummed?

Season 16 of "Dancing With The Stars" premieres Monday, March 18, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

First you join the service, then perhaps you can convince the Romney boys to join, tho they all have families and actually are a bit old to be starting a career in the armed forces.

How about convincing her sons to be of service to their country and do some military service.  I'm sure they can get cushy desk jobs and not be in harm's way, with Willard's connections.

OOOOH.....No thank you!  I'd rather see Moochelle Obummer and her arm pits she loves to flaunt. Why would Ann do this? To be attacked by evil media bashers? To be made fun of? No, I like her too much to have her thrown to the wolves. Relentless. That is what this society has become. What is good now...has always been viewed as evil. Acceptance of being barbaric. That is what Obummer stands for. Google full-term abortions. That's what your Prez thinks ok....that...and not letting us stick with the 2nd amendment and have guns to protect ourselves. The first guns to be put away...just to be a good example...should be that of Obamas security team. Go far away Ann! Your too good for this show...and any other show. Half of America thought Obummer was a good idea and not Mitt. Hold on folks...we are now going to hell.

Why would they even waste their time asking her? Unless she was willing to donate the proceeds to charity or something. Probably the Mittster and the Romney family are planning their move to one offshore bank haven or another so they won't have time for dancing lessons. Hmmmm maybe she could audition for DWTS Cayman Islands or Switzerland?

Naw, I'm not bummed. Who'd watch her anyway. She works so hard at being a stay at home mom. (cough)

It's her decision, but I for one am tired of anything to do with the Romneys, and their ablity to pay less tax, as a percentage of their income, than many middle class wage earners and their haughty attitudes!

Good for her, it's a classy move, in my opinion. And I'm no Romney fan.

Like she would even know how to do anything on here own.  She would need to hire a look alike to do all the work.  Don't give her any air time or cover stories.   Just  make her and her husband pay more taxes and stop hiding/laundering money overseas.  So ecstatic that Mitt lost and that she isn't the first lady.
