'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Recap: Brandi Arrives
The women gang up against Eddie Cibrian's ex
Let's be frank: Brandi Glanville is the real reason we tuned in for this season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Sure, we wondered how Lisa Vanderpump would survive without boy toy Cedric Martinez. We are curious if Taylor Armstrong will starve herself into nothingness while coping with a possible divorce. There is also the grim undercurrent of her husband Russell Armstrong's suicide. But mostly, we wanted to see what happened when Brandi showed up. The wait was totally worth it.
Bing: More about "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"
First things first — Brandi is majorly hot. Even with a cast on, yowza. Tall, blond, gorgeous and yes, much younger than the rest of the women. She also doesn't put up with other people's crap. As soon as Adrienne Maloof shows up with Brandi, who is on crutches, at Kyle Richards' charity event, the women are all over her. Lisa, who has seen pictures of Brandi with Cedric, is particularly obsessed. "After what Cedric did to us, I don’t want anything to do particularly with anybody that’s friends with him," she declares. She then grills Brandi, who makes the mistake of saying that Cedric never said a bad word about Lisa. The women go nuclear on her. "Why would you wear a stiletto when you have a broken leg?" Kyle snipes, almost within earshot.
But Brandi is not the type to take bitchiness without a fight. She tells us first that Lisa needs to let go of whatever happened with Cedric. "How old is she, 60?" Brandi says. "She shouldn’t be acting that way." As for the rest of the women, she says "you get what you give in life." And if they are going to give her bitchy, she is ready to give it right back. We. Can't. Wait.
During the charity event, Taylor also is preoccupied with sussing out who spilled information about her and her husband to a gossip website. The article had far too many details including her weight loss that makes her suspicious it's someone in her inner circle. (We also learn everyone who works for her signs a confidentiality agreement. Honey, you do know you're just a reality star?) All signs of betrayal point to Lisa, whom Taylor feels is overly concerned with her weight. We don't know if Lisa did the deed, but Taylor sure looks like she could use a burger and some french fries.
We also watched Adrienne take a trip by private jet to watch the Sacramento Kings for the last game of the season and possibly the last game in Sacramento as her family decides whether to move them. Adrienne gets teary, and her overprotective body guard does not want her hanging with the people, but she does it anyway and lives to tell the tale.
But honestly, the only drama we really care about right now is Brandi. What did you think of Brandi's first appearance on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"? Sound off below!
Taylor better eat or she will end up like Karen Carpenter......especially with the drinking and stress. Kim acts like a teenager. Kyle is ok but she is actiing imature as well with the addition of Brandi.. If she is so hot why did her husband leave her? Lisa is interesting but what is up with her and Cedric and that dog is ridiculous. Adrienne is cool but she is mean to her husband Paul and I think he is sweet.
ANYBODY who says Brandi is hideous is just like those other dolts on Housewives: petty, vindictive, spiteful and most of all jealous. The woman is absolutely beautiful. I don't know about her personality but I'm not going to be your average gossipy, b*tchy woman and say nasty vile things about her. Cibrian is a creep and a lowlife and he and Leann deserve each other. What goes around comes around......always does. Always.
But, if it makes YOURSELF feel better to slam someone's appearance, hey, that's your right. I pity you, but it's your right. All I can say is, get some help for that low self esteem of yours.
All I can say is that I used to think that Eddie Cibriani was a bast***d for leaving his wife for Leanne Rhimes, but now not so much. This Brandi babe is a bitch and I'm sure she is gonna get ripped a new one before the end of the season. She has a whole lot of mouth. I didn't like that the first thing she said in her first interview was "I was married to the biggest scumbag........." Get over it. Its been years. If that's your only claim to fame then who the hell are you??
"What did you think of Brandi's first appearance on "The Real Housewives of Orange County"
I could have SWORN the show was Beverly Hills, not Orange County. MAJOR typo.
Anyway, who cares? These women are a bunch of money hungry witches, especially Taylor, who is cashing in on her husband's death(since he isn't around to defend himself). Not worth wasting time watching. I am so glad there are better things on to watch.
