Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley have defended their reality show, insisting that, unlike their spin-off "Snooki and JWoww," many other programs are staged. In a time when many new reality TV series are popping up on every network, the former "Jersey Shore" stars are experts in distinguishing what is real and what is created just for the cameras.

After six seasons on the MTV beachside series, the two best buds have become successful in their own spin-off, which recently began its second season. And they tell the Hollywood Reporter that "Snooki and JWoww" is as real as it gets, unlike their competitors. Farley says, "We're staying true to reality TV. This is real life. I'm noticing a lot of reality TV is staged." Known for her candidness in front of the camera, Polizzi adds, "I can tell when it's not real. On our show, you can't make this stuff up. Even how they talk and it’s just ... it doesn’t feel real."

I guess TV is going down the drain, nothing good stays around anymore.  People are so consumed with showing their body parts, and underwear.  You don't need real actors, just find someone who wants to take their clothes off.  I think we need to create some new kind of shows that will relate to whats coming in the future.  We need more educational shows. some for adults, teenagers, and small children. I think the Jeff Probst show is nice, fresh, and interesting.  There are a lot of interesting people out there that can share their knowledge and experiences.  America put your clothes back on, and lets see some brainy adventures...

Why do you guys have to hate on them? you complain about what they are teaching your kids but your the ones letting your kids watch it. its called parental control. They may of been nothing before they started the shows but  now there making it big! and you guys are all hating on them? why? because no one is taping your life? If you don't like the show, or them , then why are you wasting your time blogging about it. They are one of the million shows aired . if you cant find something else to watch on tv upgrade your cable and get more channels. Its not like there show is aired on every channel anyways, You say there fake, sluts, and plastic but what is most of america? I'm sorry but even if your kids don't watch it , there still going to turn out wanting to be like them specially if there in high school. have you ever gone to a public place and sat back and looked at how all the kids under 18 dressed and acted? there are kids as young as 8 years old tanning , so what if there grown and decide to tan. at least there not 8! Just because your life sucks and you cant make it on tv doesn't mean you have to put these girls down. The earned there spot on tv just like everyone has. Shut up, and change the channel.

Yes, their show is more real than the others.  But unless you are heavily invested in a form of life lower than trailer trash, you wouldn't have an interest in it.

One of the most cynical reality shows id SISTER WIVES. these women obviously are not wanting to "share" their husband, but have been brainwashed since childhood to accept polygamy. the children are embarassed by it, and many won't follow it when they grow up. Read ESCAPE, by Carolyn Jessop, for the seamy side of polygamy.

That's exactly why I like to watch soap operas...........We know it's just a story and it is much more fun to watch than some reality and talk shows and yet, they seem to want to cancel soaps to put on something really corny........

I never have watched that show and I never will. But given the plethoria of shows depicting New Jerseyites if I lived there I'd be embarrassed.

Reality shows are so stupid as their actors!  The big masses are people with very low education, and low instruction, that's why tis shows are a success with those low people! This two, are the same, they show that they have no talent! I could care less for them! but these low people are making them rich dummies!!

Yea,okay...well if they say so.....it's only makes them look more like a bunch of idiots if that's the way they act in real life. Can't believe they actually gave them a new show.
