MTV stars say their own series document are 'real life'

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley have defended their reality show, insisting that, unlike their spin-off "Snooki and JWoww," many other programs are staged. In a time when many new reality TV series are popping up on every network, the former "Jersey Shore" stars are experts in distinguishing what is real and what is created just for the cameras.

After six seasons on the MTV beachside series, the two best buds have become successful in their own spin-off, which recently began its second season. And they tell the Hollywood Reporter that "Snooki and JWoww" is as real as it gets, unlike their competitors. Farley says, "We're staying true to reality TV. This is real life. I'm noticing a lot of reality TV is staged." Known for her candidness in front of the camera, Polizzi adds, "I can tell when it's not real. On our show, you can't make this stuff up. Even how they talk and it’s just ... it doesn’t feel real."

What a crock. Jersey Shore was right up there with being a completely fake "reality" series. Now these two idiots are claiming they're so real? Is their 15 minutes up yet?

So called reality (rubbish) T.V.  is one of the main reasons I pay a fortune for dish network. It would be impossible to get any lower than current network programing and not get  prosecuted for obscenity.

Of course that doesn't say much for the audience.

This one is easy. Surround yourself with a bunch of immature, two timing men, and a bunch of equally immature, boyfriend stealing bimbos, rent a house together and go out to the bars and nightclubs every night to drink and further break down any inhibitions they may have to actually behave themselves. Now add a couple of techs to indiscreetly film the action so that everyone forgets the cameras are actually there. Great recipe for butting heads and constant drama.

As a mother if my children, be it a son or daughter ever did the things that they do on this show I would be in jail for child abuse, They are disgusting!!!   This show has done nothing but to teach young girls to be drunken sluts with no morals and to have no respect for themselves or others and it is teaching young men to be immature childish babies and use and treat woman like trash.  They do no justice for New Jersey or anywhere else.  Personally  I think Hurricane Sandy was God's way of cleansing the Jersey Shore like in Sodom & Gomorrah.

So let me get this straight. Because someone goes out and has fun, yes maybe acting stupid sometimes, they are a dirty bimbo slut? Clearly you guys have some issues.  Yes this isn't your typical thing to see but clearly they don't do it every night of their life.  This is a SUMMER SHORE HOUSE.  Summer is for having fun!!! And yes, the fact that they're getting paid to party will make them party more! Duh! This doesn't mean they are sluts.  Clearly they have become very successful in life. As you all know about their life, or so you think.  I don't know how many of you are girls but if you are, if you had the body to be wearing half the things they do, clearly you wouldn't be saying anything.  An for all you guys calling names, don't even start, men look at naked girls in porn all the time!! Why would they hide their rocking bodies? And you make comments about Jenny's boobs, but they are amazing and most girls would kill for her body! These comments are so hypocritical because you say how stupid they are, but clearly you are taking the time to read the article and comment on it!! Someone who really dislikes something so much will not even waste their time reading something about it.

I believe these girls when they say their show is not staged. I am a co-creator and co-producer of a show that is airing on FUSE right now and I also guarantee our show is real. Our women have often told us that they forget the cameras are even there. We're not a "hair pulling" show, but there have been some intense moments, some highs and low - that's real life - I invite you to watch "Ex Wives of Rock" on FUSE - Friday nights 10:30 EST - 7:30 PST - Tonight is a wild episode called "The Lost 36 Hours" the Ex Wives hit Vegas. I saw some filming on a terrible visit back to Seaside Heights two years ago..... AND THEY DID RE-TAKES ON THE BEACH.  Who are these two kidding.  They are as fake as it gets.

These girls may come from NJ and do some really off the wall things that i dont care for. I too am from NJ and under no circumstances do they represent me. Only I do. Snookie may be a mom and she will have alot to answer for to Lorenzo when he gets old enough to understand. I feel bad for him. Thats his mom for god sake. She doesnt have to answer to anyone other than him, for she represents him as well.

Yea..its obvious they are telling the truth about their show being as real as it gets. No one can act so dumb and trashy as them!! Snook's teeth are too damn big and white. J's boobs are too big for her body frame and the botox to the cheeks are too damn much! Oh the beauty of being naturally beautiful and physically blessed!

Wow.  Aren't these two from the group of non-Italians (most were hispanic) in the house of steroided-out (remember, can't use the term juiced up gorillas anymore, per mtv rules) mis-fits who give a bad name to their entire generation?  These two - one with all of her silicone "brains", and the other is a walking petri-dish of filth.  And we are supposed to take social commentary from them???Their whole lives are based on STDs, bar fights, and faking it in front of a "reality camera".  Where is our society really headed?
