What do you think of this year's cast?
"Dancing With the Stars" returns Monday, March 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
It is obvious by reading some of these comments that the case will work because it is diverse. People are saying "I have only heard of (fill in the blank). That is the point people! They have the required NFL'er, retired athlete, throw in a few 80's mega-stars (could be on "Where R They Now" episode) for the 40-somethings, the senior citizen (I don't know who poor cutie-Tristan royally pissed off!), a Latin hottie, chunky talk-show rep. (think Neicy Nash or Rikki Lake, people will love to watch her take the pounds off in the process-if she lasts long enough) and your required Disney star since it is an ABC show. With a cast like this they have touched on at least ONE person who people will watch and root for. They know exactly what they are doing when they pick these casts! You will never get the George Clooney's or Brad Pitt's, but then again--they would be really pretty boring to watch. These people have been out of the public eye for long enough to actually have a semi-normal life again, and that what makes them fun to watch. It is like watching a friend you haven't seen since high school doing something like this!
