New summer episodes include guest stars Jon Stewart, Elizabeth Banks and Simon Pegg

By MSN TV Partner May 16, 2014 10:31AM
Disney XD's hit series "Phineas and Ferb" has an exciting line-up of guest stars and specials this summer, starting with a one-hour special featuring Jay Leno.

Jon Stewart, Elizabeth Banks and Simon Pegg also lend their voices to upcoming episodes.

MSN TV's first-look photo from the June 9 special features friends Buford, Isabella, Phineas, Baljeet and Ferb:

In "Phineas and Ferb Save Summer," Leno plays the voice of Major Monogram's boss, Colonel Contraction of the O.W.C.A. (Organization Without a Cool Acronym). Phineas, Ferb and the gang host a global summer concert -- just as Doofenshmirtz's latest "-inator" invention moves the Earth, putting summer itself in jeopardy.

Banks and Pegg will show up in the June 11 episode, "Imperfect Storm", and Stewart is in the July 7 episode, "Klimpaloon Ultimatum".

All of this is leading up to the highly anticipated "Star Wars"-themed special. Premiering in July on Disney Channel, "Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars" finds the show characters in the world of Star Wars, where Phineas and Ferb are Luke Skywalker's neighbors, Doof meets Darth and Ferb becomes an evil Sith.

"Phineas and Ferb Save Summer" airs Monday June 9 at 10AM ET/PT on Disney XD

Plus, host Nate Berkus shares his thoughts on the week's challenge

By MSN TV Apr 25, 2014 3:54PM
Renovation fanatics, don't miss the competition show "American Dream Builders", hosted by renowned designer Nate Berkus. In Sunday's episode you'll be blown away by the reveal of a colonial home's new kitchen.

“With a colonial home it’s always about striking that right balance between old and new," says Berkus, sharing his thoughts about this challenge. "Some of the contestants landed that perfectly this week…some not so well. Team Red’s kitchen was a judge’s favorite for sure. It absolutely hit the mark. Beautiful, elegant and yet nothing had been sacrificed in the way of functionality. I feel like in this episode we start to see how some of our designers have really evolved throughout the competition. I love that.”

Watch this clip of the kitchen reveal (we love judges Eddie George and Monica Pederson's reactions):

What? You didn't know this Heisman Trophy winner and Pro Bowler is also a landscape architect? Then you need to tune in Sunday night for more reveals, including a fantasy bathroom and high-sophistication living room.

"American Dream Builders" airs Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
