Somewhere in Hollywood, Jessica Lange is getting ready to do her best Nurse Ratched impersonation. E! reports that "American Horror Story" honcho Ryan Murphy, speaking at a TV Academy panel, finally conceded that Season 2 of his horror anthology will take place at an East Coast institution for the criminally insane.

And Lange, who so memorably played first-season matriarch Constance, will take on a whole new role as the mental hospital's primary administrator.

Murphy also revealed that new edition Adam Levine will be one half of a couple known as "The Lovers," and that adorers who want to see him semi-nude with regularity will  "be satisfied." Personally, we're just satisfied knowing his band won't be performing.

Season 2 of "American Horror Story" premieres this October on FX.
