'Wendy Williams Show' Wigs Out Over 500th Episode
May promises a star-studded lineup, cash prizes and audience giveaways
"The Wendy Williams Show" is celebrating its landmark 500th episode with big celebrity guests, surprise giveaways, games awarding $5,000 in cash and some wild and wiggy changes for the hostess. Wendy Williams will hang up her traditional long, curly locks to try out a different wig every day leading up to the milestone 500th show on Wednesday, May 23.

The festivities kick off April 30, and Williams is pulling out all the stops. She's even invited hater Joel McHale to make his first appearance on her show, which he regularly makes fun of on his show, "The Soup." Bill Bellamy, Paula Abdul, Michael Ealy, Matthew Modine, Raven-Symone, Kenan Thompson and Chandra Wilson are a few other guests on the docket, with the full schedule listed below.

At home, viewers can get in on the surprise giveaway swag by visiting www.wendyshow.com. You'll have to be in the studio audience, however, to play "The Wendy 500" games. Williams will give guests a chance to win $5,000 cash in a different game each week. First up, it's the money booth. The week of May 7, participants will swing a sledgehammer in the strong man challenge. Then, it's a basketball challenge for the week of May 14.
