'Grey's Anatomy' Season 9 Promos Tease More Loss
Will Mark 'McSteamy' Sloane die on the ABC drama too?
Fans who are still mourning the loss of Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) in the season 8 finale of "Grey's Anatomy" better brace themselves. There might be more death.
ABC has released two season 9 promos -- one this week -- that all but guarantee Lexie's death wasn't the last. Kim Raver, who plays Dr. Teddy Altman, is leaving the show and so is Eric Dane. The actor, who co-stars as Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloane, announced his departure in July. But as Huffington Post asked in a story Friday, will McSteamy be killed off?

Shortly after Dane's announcement, his co-star Patrick Dempsey, tweeted a photo that made it seem like McSteamy will die. But ABC asked the actor, who plays Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd, to take the photo down and he did.
"Grey's Anatomy" returns Thursday, Sept. 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
