As the saying goes, you can't keep a good woman down. Or at least that's how it should be recited, particularly in the case of ex-"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria.Bing: Eva Longoria
Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Texan native is headed north of the border for a lead voice role in animated comedy "Mother Up!" Or at least her pipes are.
Canadian broadcaster City and Hulu will simulcast the series, which features Longoria as music executive-turned-stressed suburban mom Rudi Wilson. “She’s a crazy, irresponsible mother, that all mothers fear they are,” Longoria tells Hollywood Reporter. “She barely keeps her kids alive with bizarre, improvised solutions to the endless challenges of parenting."
"Mother Up!" is the brainchild of "Family Guy"/"My Name is Earl"/"Better Off Ted" producer Michael Shipley, and will debut in the fall, proving Longoria is far from the autumn of her career.
