Celebrity chef and dad mocks canceled Nick show for kicks

Anthony Bourdain needs attention. "The Taste," ABC's chef competition show on which he's a judge, debuts later this month. And his CNN show, "Parts Unknown," premieres this spring, but that's too far away for the 56-year-old bon vivant.

 

So what's Bourdain been doing to steal the spotlight in the meantime? Live tweeting "iCarly," of course.

That's right. The celebrity chef, husband and father took to Twitter to post his observations on the now defunct Nickelodeon teen comedy about a girl (Miranda Cosgrove), her friends and their web show.

One tweet read: "Carly and Sam are so mean to Freddy. He should quit — let those b------ find another shooter who works for free. #iCarly #sweatshop" while another said: "Carly using Freddy's sexual obsession to exploit him for free professional services wrong! He'll probably grow up to be Brett Ratner now."

Yes, we know. These are some humorous tweets, but Bourdain is too grown for this kind of mockery. Besides, his views on travel guru Rick Steves are much funnier.

 

"The Taste" debuts Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. "Parts Unknown" debuts this spring on CNN.

I'm sure that was a mistake what you might was his Grand Children, he's way too old by now for just regular kids, he's like in his 70's eh? But I will have to agree with him, that little blonde chick is a mean **** bitch.   Freddy needs to move on and find a girl, that respects him, for him. And yes I know it's just a TV show for kids, but it is showing young people how to disrespect and manipulate their equals.

Have you ever watched a show just because you are trying to figure out why the star of the show is a T.V. star, why are they on T.V., and no matter how many times you watch the show you just can not figure out what talents this person has to offer? I just can not see how eating, drinking and trying to pass off a character flaw as a brand of humor can be seen as quality T.V.. Well i guess anyone can find an audience just look at the success of that winner Jersey Shore.

Anyone that is mad at him for his tweets obviously has never seen any of his shows and does not know his kind of humor. Does he actually dislike these girls; no. He is just taking a show and making jokes about it for his twitter followers to laugh at because he knows that we understand his humor and obviously are drawn to in or we would watch his shows or follow him on twitter.

At one time I watched his show(s) every time they were on, but his repeated comments thinking himself the only person who can cook or is knowledgeable about food, besides someone who lives deep in the jungle or a hovel somewhere in Asia, have me now changing the channel.

If what he is craving is attention he needs to go about it differently. Actually showing if he could cook instead of talking trash about other chefs  would be one alternative and yes, some of the chefs he bashes I have the same opinions of.

I'm the first person to call out Bourdain on the douchebag blowhard that he genuinely is, but it's obvious he's watching TV with his kid(s), is bored with it, and is twitting away in his typical shlt-falling-from-mo​uth fashion.

In general, though, he does need to shut it.

It's obvious he has too much time watching tv with his kids, ICarly is a great show, who is he anyways, never heard of him.... sounds like someone who hurts peoples feelings for fun... just to get some attention. wow, big man!!  NOT!!!!

Didn't you *just* say he's a father? Do you proofread *at all*? It sounds like he's watching television with his kids and using the internet to vent his frustration with the fact that it's a horrible show. I don't think there's anything unusual about that.
