'Hangover' writers get ABC pilot
Boozy comedy 'Mixology' goes from limbo to locked in

The good news for comedy fans: ABC has granted a pilot order for a sitcom from the "Hangover" scribes. The bad news: ABC has granted a pilot order for a sitcom from the writers of "The Change-Up." The somewhere-in-between news? It's the same sitcom. Deadline reports that, after putting gears in motion back in October, the network has officially greenlit an initial episode of "Mixology," a single-camera laugher from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore about young single-folk searching for love connections over the course of an evening at a New York City bar. Because, naturally, that's where romance truly flourishes.
Paired with the likes of other upcoming half-hours like wacky family newcomer "How the F Am I Normal," ABC's slate for 2013 appears brimming with only mildly interesting new life. If only James Van Der Beek could play himself in every series.
