Jason Sudeikis Back With 'SNL'
Cast veteran confirmed as 38th season nears premiere

"American Idol" isn't the only show making a flurry of last-minute adjustments. A couple of days after announcing the addition of three new cast members, "Saturday Night Live" has confirmed that longtime star Jason Sudeikis will be returning to his place amid the sketch ensemble.
And why not? Sure, Sudeikis has experienced some big-screen success of late in "Horrible Bosses" and other comedy romps, but with Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg out of the "SNL" picture, it's Sudeikis' time to shine. Not to mention it's election season, which should provide the 36-year-old actor with ample opportunity to make viral headlines throughout the show's 38th season.
And yes, you read correctly, "SNL" has aired more seasons than Sudeikis has lived years on this planet.
"Saturday Night Live" Season 38 premieres Saturday, Sept. 15, at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
