Jake Pavelka is an expert on our 100 sexiest artists?
VH1 taps former 'Bachelor' for his expertise, so it must be true

Maybe VH1 is just capitalizing on Season 17 of "The Bachelor" heading into its final, headline-grabbing episodes. Or perhaps the network's definition of auteur is broad enough to include airline pilots who double as ballroom dancers.
If the latter proves true, then it's perfectly reasonable that Jake Pavelka qualifies as an expert on sensually creative types for VH1's upcoming special ranking today's "100 Sexiest Artists," which premieres March 5. And the former scenario would possibly make sense through some kind of Lindsay Lohan on "Anger Management" to promote "Scary Movie 5" Hollywood logic.
Still, the list's dual criteria of exuding both sex appeal and artistry has us skeptical over the "Bachelor" alum and past "Dancing with the Stars" participant's credentials to assess its finalists. Hell, even he admits to his limited creative talents:
"VH1'S 100 Sexiest Artists" premieres March 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
