WWE gets even cozier with Trump
'Monday Night Raw' announcement welcomes the Donald to the Hall of Fame

It's no secret that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Chairman Vince McMahon and Donald Trump are old buddies. In their separate business ventures over the past four decades, they've practically defined an era's rugged capitalism. Together, they've provided memorable television moments like the Donald shaving off Vince K.'s illustrious, silver-foxy CEO do at WrestleMania 23 (see for yourself, and cringe, below). And let us not forget everyone's favorite "Celebrity Apprentice" bully feebly pushing his real-life amigo over a table on "Monday Night Raw" earlier that same year.
As a thank you for those sparkling small-screen efforts, and for making so many of his namesake venues available for lease to Mr. McMahon's pro-wrestling outfit dating back 25 years, it was announced on last night's "Raw" that Donald Trump would be inducted alongside this year's WWE Hallf of Fame class. And nearly instantaneously, a viewing nation otherwise riveted by Brock Lesnar's bloody battle with a returning Triple H and eagerly anticipating John Cena's war with CM Punk let out a collective, "Ugh."
Plus: 'Dancing With the Stars' cast | Shows that are signing off this year | Fantasy 'Real Housewives' cast
Then again, while "Raw" is a superlative piece of escapist entertainment, Donald's inclusion shouldn't come as a surprise from the same program whose quality-control people once got behind this:
"Monday Night Raw" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on USA. "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" premieres March 3 at 9 p.m.. ET/PT on NBC.

WWE Creative seems to be lost. Sometimes they do great stuff, most of the time they do stupid ****, like the Mae/Horny scene. They need new writers. Get rid of the Hollywood garbage who know nothing about the product, and bring in some long time fans who know it like the back of their hands. The product will get better and ratings won't plummet every week. Trump? I have no problem with him going into the Celebrity wing. Hell, Pete Rose and Drew Carey are in there. Donald deserves to be in there more then those two, and most of the rest as well.
