'The Talk' celebrates 'The Young and the Restless'
Soap stars on hand for 40th anniversary, 'Keep Talking' in fan Q&A
"The Young and the Restless" 40th anniversary celebrations are taking over CBS daytime. Stars Peter Bergman (Jack), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Amelia Heinle (Victoria), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas), Michael Muhney (Adam), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Kristoff St. John (Neil) will visit the "The Talk" for a live broadcast, followed by a 30-minute web Q&A. The CBS game shows will also honor the soap opera, with help from Jeanne Cooper (Katherine) and a handful of Genoa City hunks.
"The Young and the Restless" turns 40 on Tuesday, March 26 and on Monday, March 25, castmembers will gather on "The Talk" to reflect on the legacy of their show, which has been the #1 daytime drama for more than 24 years. They’ll also look back to their most memorable "The Young and the Restless" moments, both on camera and behind the scenes.
"The Talk" audience will be packed with "The Young and the Restless" fans and after the live show wraps, the actors will participate in a web-exclusive 30 minute Q&A titled "Keep Talking: The Young and the Restless Cast." Julie Chen will moderate the Q&A session, which will be posted online at TheTalk.com later that day.
That same day, Genoa City grand dame Jeanne Cooper (Katherine) and hunks Lamon Archey (Mason), Marco Dapper (Carmine), Ignacio Serricchio (Alex) and Redaric Williams (Tyler) will appear on "The Price is Right" to help present 40th anniversary-themed showcases.
Christian LeBlanc (Michael) and Daniel Goddard (Cane) will also host a live video #AskYR chat at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
Then on the show's Tuesday anniversary, "Let’s Make a Deal" will celebrate with a special deal involving "The Young and the Restless" themed trivia.
