CBS picks up entire daytime lineup
'Young and the Restless,' 'Bold and the Beautiful,' 'The Talk' and game shows re-upped
CBS Daytime is keeping "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Talk," "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" around through the 2013-14 season. "The Young and the Restless," which celebrates 40 years on the air Tuesday, March 26, was also picked up for the upcoming season earlier in the year.

"Over the past few years, we have successfully transitioned our daytime schedule to a balance of program genres with new creative energy, while maintaining our ratings leadership," said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment. "I am excited and energized by the pickup of our lineup for next season, which features a balanced mix of talk, game shows and drama,” chimed in Angelica McDaniel, Senior VP, Daytime, CBS Entertainment. "We have been #1 for over two decades, and our goal is to challenge ourselves to make our successful schedule even stronger."
Between the "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" reboots, the "Days of Our Lives" pickup earlier this month and the "General Hospital" 50th anniversary brewing, this continues to be a good time for soap fans.
