FX tabs Mrs. Channing Tatum for 'American Horror Story' Season 2

"American Horror Story" has pretty much put on a clinic of how to develop summer buzz and ensure there's no letdown for its sophomore autumn season. Every week seems to generate more casting news and plot details, and even its promotional posters are creepy and portend more grisly, blackly comic scares when it premieres in October. The last bit of news pertained to Jessica Lange's mental-institution administrator's background as a woman of Jesus. Now, Entertainment Weekly has learned that "Step Up" star Jeena Dewan, also known as Channing Tatum's real-life bride, will join "AHS" as Adam Levine's doomed lover.
No other huge details about she and Mr. Maroon 5's presumably mortal fate have been leaked, although Dewan's hire would seem to be the final piece in this expansive casting puzzle. As we've reported throughout the summer, Season 1 favorites Lange, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto will be returning as new characters, while film and TV vets including Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell and Joseph Fiennes are first entering Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's haunted basic-cable house.
We can't wait.
