Norman Reedus wants a Daryl and Carol romance, too
'Walking Dead' star has ideas on how the first love scene should play out
Fans aren't the only ones who want to see Daryl and Carol become a couple on "The Walking Dead."
Norman Reedus, who plays the bow and arrow-yielding hero, said the love connection should happen between his character and that of Melissa McBride's -- with a few addenda.

"I want to play it with no game," Reedus, 44, said at an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences panel Tuesday in North Hollywood. "I want her to make the first move, and I kind of just whimper."

Unfortunately, McBride, 47, wasn't in attendance to add her thoughts about the will-they-or-won't-they pairing. In addition to Reedus, the panel featured stars Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Laurie Holden, David Morrissey, Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan. Executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and Robert Kirkman were also on hand.
Chris Hardwick, from AMC's subsequent fan series, "Talking Dead," moderated the chat fest and at the end, asked the producers and cast fan questions from social media sites. Hmm. What a smart way to avoid the inevitable "What happened with Glen Mazzara?" questions.
