Jennie Garth, Luke Perry Plotting Sitcom
Former '90210' pals working on new multi-camera comedy

Sometimes, when you go digging for dirt, you come up with pure gossip gold. While sussing out whether Luke Perry and Jennie Garth's participation in a series of Old Navy ads somehow indicated there was romance in the offing, Rumor Fix wound up confirming that the longtime, on-screen "Beverly Hills, 90210" lovers are indeed collaborating on a bigger project. In what may be a case of publicity TMI, a rep for Garth tells the site that she and the Luke-ster "have been spending a lot of time together recently because the two are working on developing a TV sitcom together." Said rep even elaborates that "it will be a multi-camera half-hour show. Currently, we have producers and writers and are meeting with networks.”
Well, if those networks know what's good for them, they'll break their code of silence and zip right over to do business with the suddenly over-40 ex-teen idols. If for no other reason than to substantiate the above play on words.
We'll be sure to keep you updated as we get more information.
