J.Lo Developing Lesbian Drama Series
'American Idol' judge tapped by ABC Family to produce and star
Jennifer Lopez wants even more drama in her life. According to Deadline, the "American Idol" judge is developing an hour-long drama series about a lesbian couple with kids for ABC Family.
One mom is a cop, the story notes, the other a teacher. They are already raising a biological son and adopted teenage twins when their home is "turned upside down" by the addition of a "wayward teenage girl."
Lopez intends to executive-produce the series, whose title is not yet known, and appear in a guest role. According to the report, the show is on a fast track.
Guess I can't say much more. The voices here have pretty much defined J. Lo.
I was a fan, but she has become too greedy, too powerful, is still immature, and her life seems to be in a sad state of affairs. Maybe those of authority will hear us, and maybe something Good will happen in today's troubled Society. I can dream. Have a good week.
I am very very disappointed in her decision to make a movie about lesbian couple. I was raised as a christian to have morals. I am against same sex marriage. I think that it is wrong. She is going to give young childten the wrong set of morals. I will not watch anymore of her shows that she has on the television.
JL was in the twilight years of her career almost a decade ago, she'll do anything for money, she proved that with all those Fiat ads, and turning her awards performance into a Fiat ad.
This show, even if sponsored by J.C. Penney's, will have a very short run, too many people are put off by the subject matter. If you have 1,000 viewers, and only 1 of them care to see that, what do you think is going to happen? It doesn't make financial sense, the networks need viewers to make a profit, just ask oprah about that.
So, another attempt to force-feed us their lack of moral standards. This is exposing children to deviant behavior. Selling us the concept that "Perversions are what the beautiful people do" is getting very old. Well all you can do is try to find what companies run ads on the show and boycott them..or we're going to have 2 "heroic" men making out on prime time TV in a couple years.
