Jennifer Lopez wants even more drama in her life. According to Deadline, the "American Idol" judge is developing an hour-long drama series about a lesbian couple with kids for ABC Family.

One mom is a cop, the story notes, the other a teacher. They are already raising a biological son and adopted teenage twins when their home is "turned upside down" by the addition of a "wayward teenage girl."

Lopez intends to executive-produce the series, whose title is not yet known, and appear in a guest role. According to the report, the show is on a fast track.

Why?  What makes J.Low the authority on Lesbian Life?  When 2% of the population is Gay does that mean 1% is Lesbian?  That doesn't seem to be a topic that would appeal to many people... If I was going to develop a story, I would want the story to appeal to a broad cross-section of Americans. 1% of the population would do it for me.  Not very smart J.Lo! She should keep doing what she is doing... Why fix it if it ain't broke!

Guess I can't say much more. The voices here have pretty much defined J. Lo.

I was a fan, but she has become too greedy, too powerful, is still immature, and her life seems to be in a sad state of affairs. Maybe those of authority will hear us, and maybe something Good will happen in today's troubled Society. I can dream. Have a good week.

I wonder if a case could be for charging such a TV show with exposing a child to pornography since the subject matter is a sexual deviantcy and that is a broadcast station.

As a closeted lesbian I am excited to see that the world might finally be changing a little even if this is just a silly show, it means a lot that ABC, a network that had previously canceled Ellen famously for her coming out episode, might allow alienated viewers like me just a little something to relate too. And just maybe I'll be able to open up a little bit to the outside world instead of living in complete paralizing fear that hate will be spewed at me for something that despite years of denial and attempted efforts to change, I can't change, so thank you Jennifer Lopez for taking what is probably a risk for your career. It means a lot to the quiet ones that are too afraid to come out that something like this might actually happen.  It gives me hope that someday I might gain some level of acceptance from society, enough to which I might actually be able to feel proud of who I am.

As far as my family and I are concerned, Channel 7 does not exist for us anymore.  There is enough garbage out there for anyone to watch.  Please NO MORE......ENOUGH, remember JLOW the movie you made when the character had enough?  Just think of all the fans that you will be losing!  Is this really the best that you can do? What's next for you and the almighty dollar and those two poor little kids, child porn?  Do you really need to exploit everything decent for money?

The ONLY reason it is going to be a "lesbian" show is so that it will draw a male audience.  Hollywood loves lesbians and bisexual female themes because they are sexually titillating to men. If a tv show wants to draw the coveted male audience it will show 2 women kissing in the promos.   It's just another way of Hollywood sexually exploiting women for high tv ratings.  It's also why you don't see Hollywood producing male homosexual tv shows that show men kissing -- because it would turn off male viewers.  I wouldn't be surprised if a tv show about bisexual female strippers is in the works next because it will draw a huge male audience.

i can't stand watching most of the crap they put on tv these days. i think they have all these horrible reality shows because they must not be able to find any writers with enough brains/talent to write a decent script for a good comedy or drama. i'm very seriously thinking about not watching any tv and looking forward to not having to watch 25 minutes of stupid commercials for every hour of tv.

I am very very disappointed in her decision to make a movie about lesbian couple. I was raised as a christian to have morals. I am against same sex marriage. I think that it is wrong. She is going to give young childten the wrong set of morals. I will not watch anymore of her shows that she has on the television.

JL was in the twilight years of her career almost a decade ago, she'll do anything for money, she proved that with all those Fiat ads, and turning her awards performance into a Fiat ad.

This show, even if sponsored by J.C. Penney's, will have a very short run, too many people are put off by the subject matter. If you have 1,000 viewers, and only 1 of them care to see that, what do you think is going to happen? It doesn't make financial sense, the networks need viewers to make a profit, just ask oprah about that.

what we need more of this crap. TV has become the trash of world outlet to corrupt our kids with the most sick filth they can come up with. this country is worse than Sodom and Gomorrah and this crap is why. gods wrath is coming and we will wonder why because we did not stop this filth from taking over. drought, fires, hotter than hell weather, floods, tornadoes, eathquakes, ect. when will people wake up to the idea that god has had enough of the rampant sin destroying families.

So, another attempt to force-feed us their lack of moral standards. This is exposing children to deviant behavior. Selling us the concept that "Perversions are what the beautiful people do" is getting very old.  Well all you can do is try to find what companies run ads on the show and boycott them..or we're going to have 2 "heroic" men making out on prime time TV in a couple years.
