Everyone's weighing in on Trayvon Martin death, including the daytime talk shows. On Thursday, March 22, Martin's parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin will appear on "Anderson" to speak for themselves about losing their 17-year-old son and the controversy that has erupted over his shooting. Anderson Cooper also interviews a witness of the slaying. Needless to say, the mourning parents want too see George Zimmerman charged, and they're not backing down on the race issue.

Bing: More about "Anderson" | More about Trayvon Martin

"We don't want to have another family go through this," Trayvon Martin's father says in the clip above. "We are very appreciative that the community across the nation is standing behind us and asking the same questions that we are asking. Why isn't George Zimmerman arrested? We want an arrest, we want him to have a fair trial. We are not asking for an eye for an eye, but we want justice for our son. The only thing that will ease the pain is seeing him being punished for the crime that he committed."

Martin also tells Cooper that he believes Zimmerman was looking for a confrontation and discusses how race has played a part in the way this tragedy has unfolded.

"I honestly believe had Trayvon been a white kid, he would have been arrested. Zimmerman would have been arrested. I just feel as though the Sanford police department is doing us an injustice. They actually are trying to sweep our son's death under the rug. Trayvon was a person, he wasn't just a statistic. He was loved by his family. He was loved by his friends. I just refuse to stop pursuing the arrest of Mr. Zimmerman until he is arrested."

The shooting was less than a month ago and while his mother says the police immediately supported Zimmerman, she believes justice will ultimately prevail.

"It's a nightmare," she says of her loss. "It's hard to sleep. Everything reminds me of him and the only thing that's fueling us to keep pressing on for justice is the fact that we know that justice will be served… I believe that."

She is just as certain that the calls for help in the background of the now infamous 911 call were her son's. "I believe that's Trayvon Martin, that's my baby's voice," she insists. "Every mother knows their child and that's his voice… He was afraid for his life. He saw his death coming. He saw his death coming. The screams got more frantic. At that second that we heard the shot the screams just completely stopped. He saw his death, he was pleading for his life."

Those cries stopped after the shooting and a witness to the aftermath, Mary, visits "Anderson" Thursday to reveal what she saw.

"In my opinion it did not look like [Zimmerman] was trying to help in anyway," she concludes. "The gun shot was to the chest and [Trayvon] was face down. He had his hands on Trayvon's back."

Martin's parents also spoke to Matt Lauer on "Today" March 21. Watch that interview here.

"Anderson" airs weekdays in syndication.

There are posts of  pictures of Trayvon Martin as a much older looking teen giving gang signs  on Facebook. There are also pictures of the man who shot him in a business suit and smiling. Which of the pictures show the men as they were the day of the shooting?  It is very confusing and I would like the truth concerning this matter.
