Kristen Johnston Kicks Off 'Anderson' Co-Host Mondays
Kristin Chenoweth, Niecy Nash and Raven-Symoné are next on the schedule
Anderson Cooper has tapped Kristen Johnston to kick off Co-Host Mondays on "Anderson." Kristin Chenoweth, Niecy Nash and Raven-Symoné will get into the co-host game in May. During Johnston's visit on April 30, she and Cooper dish about the Kardashian's $40 million payday, and then she'll face off against "Anderson" guest Kate Walsh.
Johnston shocks reality show addict Anderson Cooper Monday when she reveals she hasn't been "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" at all. The comedienne claims she's never even watched an episode, but Cooper doesn't buy it.
"I think it's like porn: Everyone says they haven't seen porn, but there is a huge porn industry," he teases.
"Honestly, no. I've seen porn," Johnston responds. "Look I am so honest, I would say anything. Watch out. I taped an episode because the previews looked [intriguing]. She was doing the ugly cry, Kim Kardashian … so I was like, 'I've got to see the ugly cry.' But I could not get myself to do it. I can't back it. I mean they are living the American dream. Good for you. I don't have to participate … I don't care ... She's a darling girl... Sorry, I just like talking about people who do something for a living. Oh snap, I'm getting lots of mail for that one!"
The co-hosts will also investigate women who undergo plastic surgery to look like celebrities, and then Johnston, a former addict, will teach Cooper about a new high school dedicated to helping teens struggling with substance abuse.
When Kate Walsh joins the co-hosts Monday, she'll open up about life on "Private Practice," plastic surgery, wearing a fat suit and her perfume, Boyfriend. Walsh and Johnston also get blinged out to face off in a game of "Buzzed Out Billionaire."
Kristin Chenoweth will serve as co-host Monday, May 7. Niecy Nash steps in on Monday, May 14. Raven-Symoné closes out Co-Host Mondays on May 21.
"Anderson" airs weekdays in syndication.
