Jason Schwartzman to guest on 'Parks'
Former 'Bored to Death' star will play a Pawnee video store owner

Pawnee, Ind., just got a little more interesting.
That's because Jason Schwartzman is guest-starring as one of the fictional town's residents when "Parks and Recreation" returns in 2013. The former "Bored to Death" star will play Dennis Lerpiss, the owner of Pawnee's only independent video store, Huffington Post reports. When the store falls on hard times, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) steps in to save the day.

"Parks and Recreation" isn't the only project on Schwartzman's horizon. HBO and "Bored to Death" creator Jonathan Ames are reportedly working on a big-screen adaptation of the quirky comedy.
