'Body of Proof' star suddenly curating 'Access Hollywood' kitchen segments

Have you been watching "Body of Proof"? OK, me neither. But I do tune in daily to "Access Hollywood Live." I just can't resist the yin of Billy Bush's savvy candor and yang of Kit Hoover's ditsy over-eagerness. Sue me. (Actually, don't. I'm between attorneys right now.)
 
 
As it happens, "Body" resumes a second season tonight on ABC, so it only follows that co-star Jeri Ryan (whom male fans of a certain age fondly recall from her "Star Trek: Voyager" vixen days) would be making the media rounds. Less foreseeable was her apparent side occupation as a celebrity vegetarian chef specializing in earthy after-school snacks for children. What can't actors do?
 
Ryan closed out today's "Access Hollywood" by leading a kitchen segment with Billy and Kit, demonstrating how to whip up the perfect roasted chickpeas and crunchy kale chips for your little one. Because what tyke doesn't long for toasty greens and golden-brown legumes? 
 
 
Turns out Ryan got the itch to master her cooking skills from hubby famed chef Christophe Émé (seriously, we hear he's reputed). Fun fact: Émé also wears teeny speedos when he and Ryan take a dip at their home. She's renaissance, and he's retro. It just works.

"Access Hollywood Live" airs weekday mornings at 11 a.m. ET/PT on NBC. "Body of Proof" Season 2 premieres Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

The first time I ever saw Jeri Ryan was on "Two,and a Half Men". She sure got my attention. She can do comedy,and is one good actress.

Seriously?! That is how you all react to a woman who trying to expand her knowledge and what she is trying to do? If you can't say anything nice, then shut the hell up! Ms. Ryan is a very good actress and yes I watch 'Body of Proof' but not because she is on it. Last night's episode was a good one by the way. As for her husband, I watched him compete on 'Iron Chef America' where he came in with a disadvantage with only 1 sous chef because they couldn't afford to have 2 on the show and leave their restaurant understaffed. They both appear to be very hard working people with respect for each other. What they do privately in the pool, bedroom or anywhere else for that matter, is none of my business nor yours.  Good luck to them both.

I think ya all are missing the point. Jeri Ryan is not only a Very Beautiful woman, but she is Smart and Talented as well. She was incredible in Star Trek Voyager as 7of9 and....... Hmmm

All you Obomalites owe her big time.  If it wasn't for her accusing her Husband to FORCE her to go and participate in Swing Clubs in PAris, France, and then gitting his LAUYERS to release sealed divorce court documebnts during his Senator Campaign against her husband running for US Senate, he wouldn't be president.

 

Also ya owe his LAUYERS for attackin the little ole Black Lady who was the Il State Senator.  She was an original Cummunity activist who got da dogs and fire hoses during civil right marches in the 1960.  His LAUYERS pumped her out for ineligble campaign signatures while registerin to  run for reelection. 

 

So, thank her, his LAUYERS and SOROS. LOL!
