Kim Kardashian Behind Bars -- on 'Drop Dead Diva'

The reality star rocks an orange jumpsuit for her stint on the Lifetime drama

That orange jumpsuit for which Kim Kardashian has been making headlines recently? It's not what you think. 


Yes, the reality TV staple is spending time behind bars, but she's doing it in character for her turn as bartender-turned-rel​ationship guru Nikki LePree ("Dr. Phil, but without the mustache")on the Lifetime hit "Drop Dead Diva." 
 
And speaking of divas, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star hasn't been one on set. "She knew all her lines; she came in very prepared," series regular Brooke Elliott told UsMagazine.com of Kardashian's taping in June. "She was very kind and low-maintenance." 

Plus, she looks good in orange -- a color not everyone can pull off. (Yeah, we're looking at you, Lindsay Lohan.)

Kardashian, who's been dating Kanye West for six months, has never spent time behind bars in reality, but she's spent plenty in court. She's due there again today for another showdown with soon-to-be-ex-husban​d Kris Humphries as they work towards finalizing their divorce. 

"Drop Dead Diva" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.

Too bad she isn't really in orange. I absolutely hate reading about these people....So glad they aren't in all of the magazines yet. I see just the most trashy ones carry anything about this sordid family. With good reason. How did they even get in the news to start with, does anyone really know? hate hate hate them:(

Who gives a damn. MSN you are whats wrong with todays young ladies, you glorify a talentless hack who's claim to fame is having sex with Ray J on video.  She did it for fame and is considered a STAR but pornstars are considered whores. Great job MSN.
