'Mockingbird Lane' Reportedly Airing Halloween Week
Pilot for troubled 'Munsters' reboot rumored to be broadcast alongside 'Grimm'

Just yesterday, our own Mekeisha Madden Toby relayed the latest on NBC's oft-delayed, supposedly endangered "Munsters" re-imagining, "Mockinbird Lane." Specifically, that execs have expressed their displeasure over the $10 million pilot to creator Bryan Fuller and director Bryan Singer. Fuller even sent a tweet Mekeisha's way, encouraging everyone to shrug off the gossip.
One has to wonder, then, what Mr. Fuller's reaction is after hearing today's reports that his "Mockingbird" pilot will air as a one-off Halloween special. Hollywood Reporter alleges that the Peacock Network is semi-exiling the costly hour of television to a standalone airing on Friday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, prior to that week's episode of "Grimm."
Neither Fuller nor NBC have commented on the newest whispers, but if "Mockingbird" does indeed take flight in a couple of weeks, one imagines its long-term future would benefit from scaring up some solid ratings.
